A Meal for All Recap

Community Meal for All in Need

We are incredibly grateful for the privilege of hosting an extraordinary community Thanksgiving, graciously orchestrated by the remarkable team at Smoked at 225, a local food truck and restaurant. This event transcended our expectations, fostering an atmosphere of warmth, togetherness, and joy that touched the lives of many.

Our gratitude extends to the diverse group of guests who joined us, representing different corners of the globe, seeking not just a meal but a place to share in the spirit of gratitude. Together, we provided solace to those who may have otherwise been alone and offered comfort to those navigating the path of grief.

The Trinity Center was full of laughter and delight. We offered activities and entertainment tailored for all ages. From engaging kids’ crafts and educational opportunities to the talents of caricature artists and a mesmerizing magician.

We are thrilled to announce that we surpassed our initial goal of 500 meals, serving approximately 560 meals. These meals, filled with love that Smoked at 225 puts in every meal, were delivered to veterans, our partner church, Hephatha, and those confined to their homes.

A heartfelt appreciation goes out to the various organizations that rallied to support “A Meal for All.” Combat veterans’ groups, the Menomonee Falls Police Department, the Menomonee Falls Fire Department, and dedicated volunteers from TMJ4, Holy Cross, and Menomonee Falls High School all played vital roles in making this event a resounding success.

To each and every participant, whether a volunteer, entertainer, or supporter, we extend our sincere thanks. A special and immense thank you is reserved for Smoked at 225, whose unwavering dedication and efforts brought this entire event to life. Your generosity has left an indelible mark on our community, and for that, we are profoundly grateful.

We hope to continue the privilege of hosting this event in the years ahead, with a commitment to enhancing it with each passing iteration. We aim to make each subsequent occasion even more remarkable, ensuring that it becomes a beacon of warmth, joy, and community.
