Pre-planning a funeral is not morbid but a gift to your friends and family. Please download the following packet that helps you think through the aspects of a funeral service. After filling it out, please leave a copy with the church and someone who will help plan your service.
Funeral
The death of a loved one is one of the most difficult times in your life. We want to help you through this time as we know there are many questions regarding arrangements, and preparations that can be overwhelming. Here are a few things to consider prior to the service:
- To schedule a funeral or memorial service, please contact the church office.
- Holy Cross strongly encourages families to make use of a funeral home. They are the experts at tending to your needs during this time and will assist you with all the details. However, please contact the church office regarding day and time possibilities before finalizing with the funeral home.
- Our pastors at Holy Cross will help you plan the service, including selecting readings, music, and gathering stories about your loved one to ensure the service will be as personalized as possible.
- Honorariums and other details are available in the following brochure (under construction available Sept 1st)
- Live streaming of the service is available.
