Holy Cross has been integral to us for nearly ½ our lives. Here our children were baptized and learned the faith. Some of our most important friendships are with other members. Over the years we have had health crises, job struggles, and loss of loved ones. Once we found out we were pregnant we knew we had to find a church home not just for ourselves but our growing family. Holy Cross became that choice because we immediately felt welcomed and at home with so many young families around us and saw the opportunities for our kids’ faith education and growth for the future. We experienced a devastating house fire in January which destroyed the entire inside of our home and most of the contents. Many members of Holy Cross came forward with prayers and offers to help wherever needed. We are so blessed to have a church home with such caring people and dedicated pastors. Jerry and Avis Dallman

All my life, to worship at church and to know a church family like here at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, has been one of the most important things in my life. We have made lifetime friends, there are people who pray for us and the well-being of our family, and we have the chance to serve and give back as a thank you to God and others for all our many blessings. We appreciate the virtual options for worshipping as a family, as well as the availability of communion too. Our children’s faith journey (and our own, as parents) didn’t stop because of the pandemic; Holy Cross very quickly pivoted to offer various virtual participation options and remain engaged in learning and growing in faith, all of which are very much appreciated.
