Pastor Andy was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. His home congregation is First English Lutheran Church in Columbus, Ohio, where he was baptized, raised, confirmed, and married.
He has worked in several Cleveland, Columbus, Houston, Detroit, and New York congregations. Since 2012, he has served Saint Mark’s Lutheran Church in Waukesha, Wisconsin.
Pastor Andy was born into a large family with 16 brothers (3 adopted, 2 biological, and 11 foster brothers. All his foster brothers and one of his adopted brothers are Vietnamese).
Before entering the ministry, Pastor Andy worked as a restaurant supervisor and manager for the Spaghetti Warehouse restaurant in Cleveland, Ohio. He is married to Becky Fetters, who is also a minister in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
Together they have three children: Charlie (12), Declan (10), and Reuben (7). Besides loving what he does for the work of the Gospel, Pastor Andy enjoys motorcycling, working with his hands, home brewing, cooking, and reading.
