The Minister of Music coordinates the music program, serves as principal organist, and oversees the choral choirs.

Bio

Mike Jacklin was born and raised in Chicago, IL.  He started his ministry in music as a freshman in High School playing for mass at the Catholic church he attended school at. Mike’s studies include time at the Chicago Conservatory of Music and private studies with Dr. Mark Russakoff organ professor at Roosevelt University.  Mike has spent 40+ years as a church musician in the Lutheran church. He has over 100 musical compositions and arrangements to his credit and has conducted numerous benefit concerts.

About

Mike enjoys working on historical theater pipe organs and is on the board of directors for the Dairyland Theater Organ Society. Mike enjoys working out at the WAC with his partner David and friends. He enjoys bike riding, traveling, and going to Brewers and Admirals games. When he is relaxing at home with his partner David, their two black cats, Hank and Max, love to sit on Mike and watch the iPad or TV with him.
